I was asked to read this book:
The Perfect Store: Inside eBay for my new job. A great account of the building and growth of eBay. I really loved this book. It captured the amazing speed at which everything was evolving just before 2000. Around that time I also decided to get my piece of the action and got involved in KaZaA which didn’t bring in that much money for all people involved ;-)

Unfortunately BTW Ebay is not that big in the Netherlands and we are stuck with a shitty Marktplaats where people can walk out of a transaction anytime they like.
